In Case of Emergency: Harm Reduction for the Dungeon

This free workshop focuses on practical harm reduction for kink and play spaces.

We’ll cover what to do when scenes, substances, or bodies don’t go as planned, and how to prepare before they do.

Mikee (2025 Knight of Leather) will lead overdose awareness and Narcan use, including how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose, use fentanyl test strips effectively, and navigate the safer use of substances like poppers, stimulants, and alcohol.

AllisaurusWrex will cover sexual wellness, including STI prevention, PrEP/PEP access, HPV and herpes awareness, and communication around sexual health.

Karmelit will take on bloodborne pathogen safety, discussing Hepatitis B/C awareness, PPE use, cleaning and disinfection practices, and how to build a small “dungeon care kit” for emergencies.

DaggerTattoos will lead scene triage and emotional response, focusing on aftercare, recognizing distress or consent breakdowns, and offering grounded, practical support during and after play.

Free Narcan kits, test strips, safer-sex supplies, and local resource information will be available.

My aim is to make this workshop inclusive, nonjudgmental, and focused on giving our community the tools to stay safer and support one another when things go wrong. whether you’re brand new to play or have been in the scene for years.
