IN-Tension — Practice Rope Jam

This rope jam's format is NOT the same as our previous IN-Tension Rope Jam.

Looking to geek out on knotty stuff, refine your rope handling & tension control, or experiment with variations of patterns you’ve picked up in workshops?

Join us at In-Tension: A jam dedicated to rope nerds who want to practice, explore, and share skills in a low-pressure, collaborative setting! Whether you’re tying or being tied, we encourage you to active participate with curiosity and agency!

At this jam, you do not need to tie "perfectly"... In fact, experimentation and learning through mistakes are highly encouraged! Come lab new ideas, drill familiar patterns, explore different techniques, and practice giving & receiving feedback with kindness!

All skill levels are welcome — As long as you are open to learning and/or sharing your discoveries 💕

We love seeing energy-focused exercises and practicing connection through rope. While practicing these skills, keep in mind that this is a practice-focused space. Please refrain from tying with the intent of scening and keep your practice centered on learning, experimentation, and skill-building.
