Introduction to Submission with Meredith

​If you've wanted to explore submission but felt your desires were somehow "wrong," this exploration of power and connection will help you explore the longing inside you. Participants are invited to examine what submission means emotionally, in a relationship, and in community - without pressure. We'll unpack common myths, including the idea that feminism and submission are incompatible, or that strong men have to be dominant at all times. Participants of all genders and orientations will learn to name their wants, set boundaries, and understand consent as an empowered practice.

​Meredith (she/they) is a kink and sexuality educator based in Washington DC, who has been teaching since 2016. She has been practicing kink since 2000, and she identifies as queer and genderqueer. She is a polyamorous masochist who enjoys playing with the edges of sadism and silliness, and is currently in two long-term power exchange relationships. She is deaf and neurodivergent, and holds the title of Mx. Maryland Leather 2026. Outside of kink, Meredith loves to talk about museums, explore new countries, and improve her chess skills.
