Join us for a guided movement experience that will take you on a transformative journey of self-expression and empowerment!
Come join us for an unforgettable experience of self-discovery and movement exploration. JourneyDance is a transformative, somatic, embodied movement practice where you can let go, listen to your inner wisdom, express yourself freely, and connect with others through dance.
The facilitator will guide you through the JourneyDance flow as you take an inward journey seeking self exploration and sacred belonging. This event is all about feeling the music, releasing stress, and having fun -- No dance experience required!
This specific event is free or donation-based with the goal to help support an ongoing monthly JourneyDance at Studio 201. Donations will be used towards supplies (headset, scarves, etc) and rental fees in order to keep these future events low-cost/sliding-scale.
All are welcome! Please register in advance (and cancel if you can't make it) so I know how many to plan on. I can't wait to move with you!
It will take place at Grant Park, the picnic A covered shelter (or nearby in the trees if someone else is using it). Closest streets are 36th and Brazee... Here is a map of Grant Park. HOWEVER -- IF THE WEATHER IS BAD I WILL SEND AN EMAIL DAY OF (to everyone who is registered) AND WE WILL MOVE TO AN INDOOR LOCATION, SO MAKE SURE TO REGISTER TO STAY IN THE LOOP!
