Workshop Description

Whether you are attending your first kinky con, first in 3 years, or third this month, our panelists will help you prepare. Going to a kinky con can be overwhelming and we will share our tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your experience and make it a positive one! We will cover a myriad of topics including negotiating pickup play, budgeting for the vendor hall, fueling up, and more. We will make sure to save some time at the end to answer any of your questions we don't cover.

Presenter Bio

Maeve McBride (she/they) is a kink educator, erotic coach, sexological herbalist, and Executive Director of KinkFest 2025. With over 22 years of experience exploring the intersections of kink, sacred sex, trauma healing, and personal alchemy, Maeve brings a unique, holistic approach to her work. As a compassionate and playful switch-witch, they are dedicated to helping people of all identities and orientations reach their health, erotic, and sexual goals. Maeve combines evidence-based teaching, anatomy insights, mind-body-spirit healing techniques, and practical communication tools to create a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration and growth. Whether working with individuals or leading workshops, Maeve’s goal is to empower students and clients to build personalized toolkits that support their unique needs, foster self-empowerment, and embrace pleasure in all its forms.
