Episode 2: $25 (+$5 if Zelle or Venmo)

Episode 2 starts our exploration of rope geometry through the dynamics of diamonds and hexagons. We will examine both their symbolism and their physical and mental power.

NOTE: We encourage both partners to participate.

Kinbaku Minus One is an ongoing series designed to help you learn and explore Kinbaku as an SM activity. In this course, we are working with the paradigm of play, starting from zero to break concepts down into their underlying elements in order to understand Kinbaku play itself instead of simply creating ties.

Each episode will explore important aspects of Kinbaku like eroticism, sadomasochism, theories of passion and beauty and perversion, fetishes, tropes, types of SM play, the visual and emotional language of Shibari, and the practical application of these ideas.

This series is ongoing, so if you miss one, you can pick it up again later.

Episode 0 "KINBAKU: ITS WORLD AND HISTORY" will be held before the start of episodes 1, 5 and 9.

While it is highly encouraged to bring a Top/bottom that you have some form of connection with (they are comfortable with you touching/being touched by them non-sexually) it’s not necessary for Episode 1.

Things you should bring:

-Tying ROPE: a couple hanks (23-26ft in length each). Jute, hemp, cotton or similar rope materials are acceptable.

Comfortable clothing for rope

Aftercare needs a blanket to keep warm after tying.

Safety shears. Available for purchase if you don't have any.

A mat to tie on, if you prefer to use your own.

Available:

Water bottles, coffee, and snacks will be offered free of charge

We have many soft mats, and a limited number of tatami mats. Emergency supplies will be on site in the form of safety shears and a first aid kit.

Be respectful towards other guests

DON'T HAVE ROPE? LB Shibari Dojo has rope available for purchase. Bring $10 and you will receive your own personal hank of rope. LB Shibari Dojo no longer has loaner rope.

General Rules and Info:

Photography will only be allowed for reference. When taking photos please always make sure no one else is in the frame. Do not take pictures of the instructors or other guests. Be respectful towards other guests.

ONLY Fans content and things like that. Please do not video for your ONLY Fans or monetary based social media platforms where you are trying to build a following and get paid. We have found that this is putting others at risk for their privacy. If you wish to use our location for such content please arrange a separate time with us. This must be done ahead of time.

Suspension: Suspensions are allowed after you have been fully vetted by one of our leadership. Each person must demonstrate mastery by suspending Ishi-Rock. A 50 pound rock.

Miscellaneous:

Nudity is allowed

Please ask for before shaking hands, hugging, touching other guests or their property

No sex allowed, no exchange of bodily fluids.

Put a towel under your booty before sitting on furniture if your booty is naked.

Be respectful towards other guests

Don't speak loudly and allow other guests a degree of intimacy

DON'T touch other people’s toys if you have not asked for and received permission.

PARKING: Do NOT park in any of the parking lots. They will TOW even if you have a handicap sign! Park on the streets. There is no 2-hour time limit on Sundays or after 7pm. Do not leave anything visible in your car.
