Let’s Talk About Sex and Cancer

This class will be held LIVE online via Zoom — Zoom links are sent out 3 days prior and then again 1 hour prior to class. If you sign up within 3 days, please be patient in waiting for the final reminder email, which will be sent out 1 hour prior to the class.
The class will be recorded and available for a limited time shortly following the class. Registration deadline: 1 hour prior to class PST. No day-of cancellations.

A cancer diagnosis changes everything. Self-image, body image, intimacy, sex, and sexual function are often upended from diagnosis through treatment — and well into survivorship. Who am I now? What feels good now? What do I want? What resources, products, and people can help? How can I advocate for myself as a sexual being after cancer?

Join mother-daughter duo, Leslie (RN, ARNP) and Gretchen, for this informative workshop on cancer and sexuality. If you have, have had, have a partner with, or care for patients with cancer, this class is for you. Pull up a chair, bring your questions, and let’s talk about sex and cancer.

Leslie has over 35 years of nursing, family practice, and nurse coaching experience. She works with individuals, community groups, and professional organizations both in-person and virtually. Leslie has worked in the field of Cancer Survivorship since 2012. She provides education to support and encourage cancer survivors’ knowledge and self-advocacy.

Gretchen is an educator, strength coach, athlete, and graduate student in the field of mental health counseling. Throughout their decade of experience in sex education and personal/group training, Gretchen has dedicated herself to meeting people where they are at the confluence of physical, sexual, and emotional wellness. Gretchen strives to approach her work through a creative, multi-disciplinary, light-hearted, and person-centered lens.

We're offering a limited number of free class spots to folks with financial need; please fill out this form if you are interested. Recipients will be chosen based on need and contacted at least 3 days prior to class to confirm.
