Pleasure in Pain is a hands-on workshop exploring how pain can be intentional and applied safely through massage and bodywork. This class focuses on controlled, consensual pain as a tool for sensation, connection, and embodied awareness.
Together, we’ll explore how the body experiences pain differently across muscle groups, body types, and nervous systems. You’ll learn how to apply pressure, intensity, and pacing in ways that are informed, intentional, and adaptable, while prioritizing safety and communication at every step.

This workshop balances education, demonstration, and guided practice. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore what your own body needs, ask questions, and receive support from a trained massage and neuromuscular therapist with knowledge of kink, anatomy, and trauma-informed care. You may attend solo or with a partner; partnering is completely optional and always based on comfort and consent.
Participants are encouraged to bring water, lunch (MUST be nut-free), and impact toys and tools. Other optional items to bring are massage guns/tools, tennis/lacrosse balls, and trigger point massager hooks.
Doors open at 10:30AM.
This event will take place at 1310 Mission Street in San Francisco. It is located in SoMa, near 9th and Mission, and is a 10 minute walk from the Civic Center/UN Plaza BART station.
Madam Moore began her journey in massage therapy in 2013, where she trained and worked alongside a trauma-focused chiropractic doctor for several years. This early experience gave her a deep respect for the ways the body holds stress, memory, and healing potential.
Since then, her path has expanded into yoga, sacred sexuality, and bodywork practices including yoni and lingam healing. Blending the physical with the spiritual, she explores the body as a vessel of both release and renewal.
Her passion lies in teaching others how to truly care for themselves—through touch, awareness, and ritual, while creating spaces where healing, empowerment, and sensuality can coexist. Check out her Instagram and Fetlife to learn more.
