Whether you're new to polyamory or a long-time poly pro, metamour relationships are amongst the most delicate and challenging relationships you will engage in.
This workshop will provide valuable insights and practical strategies for connecting with metamours and working through the feelings and experiences associated with relating to your partners' partners.
Explore the foundations of meeting metamours for the first time and learn communication strategies that promote transparency and understanding within these unique relationships. Gain insight into how these unique connections function, from introducing partners to navigating the dynamics of your polycule.

About the educator: Leanne Yau of @polyphiliablog
Leanne Yau (she/they) is a British award-winning polyamory educator, speaker and activist, sex-positive advocate, and queer therapist in training. After graduating with an Oxford law degree, she founded the social media project Poly Philia in 2020, where she creates and curates daily bite-size multimedia content on non-monogamy, queerness, neurodivergence, and sex positivity. Leanne has been actively non-monogamous since she was 17 years old, and her content draws from her lived experiences as a bisexual, autistic and ADHD, Chinese non-binary femme.
Leanne was named one of ‘15 LGBTQ+ Educators Who Took Instagram Infotainment To The Next Level’ by Buzzfeed in 2021, one of Cosmopolitan's '10 Polyamory Experts to Follow on TikTok' in 2022, and appeared in Men’s Health’s ‘60 Top Influencers Who Are Actually Worth the Follow’ in 2023. She launched the Happy Polydays podcast miniseries, appears in online and in-person talks, workshops, panels, and lectures on non-monogamy, provides non-monogamous peer support to individuals and couples across the globe, and has also narrated several audiobooks on polyamory. She is currently in training to become a therapist and is on track to qualify by 2026.
