Missed Connections: Understanding and Healing Mixed-Libido Relationships

One of you wants lots of sex, the other– doesn’t. Learn what underlies mismatched libidos and how to find fulfillment for both of you

Countless partners know the struggle is real– and painful– when one partner wants sex often and the other wants it rarely or not at all. Here’s the good news: It’s not hopeless! Finding a fulfilling middle ground in your mixed-libido relationship can be challenging, but help is at hand.

In this virtual workshop, sex educator Katy Harrison leads you out of conflict and frustration and towards connection and understanding. They’ll analyze the things that create and influence our libidos– and the things that rev them up and shut them down. You’ll learn:

  • Possible reasons why your partner’s desire level is so different from yours
  • Ways to connect outside the bedroom when sex is too emotionally fraught to work
  • Where to get more support for your work towards greater happiness and fulfillment together
  • Techniques to improve communication, empathy, and negotiation
  • Methods of self-reflection and self-care to help manage your feelings and needs

This workshop is ideal for partners who are currently struggling with mismatched libidos, but we also welcome solo folks who simply want to learn more about desire, libido, and intimacy. All genders, orientations, relationship styles, and neurotypes are welcome and included.

Don’t give up and resign yourself to a choice between an unsatisfying sex life and a breakup. Give yourself two hours to begin to heal your connection and rediscover joy instead.

This class is virtual and will be recorded, with the link to the recording provided to all registrants. Sliding scale tiers are available, and you may also inquire about sliding scale accommodations at events@tamarapincus.com.
