Mommy Dearest: Exploring Maternal Dynamics in BDSM with Athénaïs Nin and Princessa Natasha Strange

Our mothers were among the first figures we both idolized and feared. They nurtured and cared for us in ways we still long for. Some mothers were distant and cold, leaving us to seek care and comfort from other sources. We often sought their approval, even when they disappointed us. Sometimes they made us feel ashamed of our early sexual curiosities, forever changing our relationship with sex and shame. It's no surprise that many of us have complex emotions about this role in adulthood.

This class is taught by two Mommies with very different styles of play and expression - Princessa Natasha Strange and Athénaïs Nin. We will explore some of the ways these complex emotions about Mother can get played out and made supremely hot in D/s dynamics and kink/BDSM scenes.

In this class we’ll discuss why people are into Mommies and/or taking on caregiver roles, and how to find your unique voice as a Mommy or as the partner of a caregiver. We'll cover the the many facets of Mommy energy including:

1. Soft, playful, and enveloping Mommies
2. “Kind but extremely firm” governesses (Mary Poppins)
3. Madonna lactans
4. Mrs. Robinson
5. Wicked stepmothers
6. Bad Mommies
7. Dark age play
8. the Oedipal Mother
9. and even Munchausen by Proxy.

Who is this class for?

This workshop is open to all experience levels. Whether you are a Mommy or other caregiver, or someone who adores Mommies, this class is for you. Although the focus of the class will be on Mommy dynamics, Daddies and other caregiver types are enthusiastically welcomed!

Content Note: The class will include discussions of age play, age regression, taboo activities, attachment wounds, and developmental trauma. This class will not include a demo scene, but it may include images and depictions from film, porn, and other media featuring a variety of Mommy figures. Attendees are asked to anticipate and tend to their needs as well as make arrangements for any aftercare they might need.

About the Mommies

Athénaïs most often embodies nurturing, affectionate, enveloping, and unconditionally loving Mommy energies. She is an (exigent) sadist with a soft affect but a very firm touch, and seeks out “wholesome depravities” with relish. She is adept in Mommy play that explicitly draws upon attachment wounds with an eye to evoking “emotionally transformative experiences.” Athénaïs has also been lactating for over 2 years and delights in creatively incorporating milk into play through chest feeding, milk spraying, milk boarding, and alien sex.

Princessa’s Mommy role often centers around the more taboo side of play, including regression and cuckolding, humiliation, and dark age play. While she can be a nurturing mommy, she is always happiest when forcing her littles into embarrassing situations and regressing adults into diaper wearing cucks so she can re-raise them in her vision. Also an enthusiastic sadist and spanko, she does have a heavy hand for those who require it.

Masks are optional but encouraged. We are not requiring vaccination cards at this time. Sadly, our space is not ADA accessible. The steps to the exterior door do not have a handrail; the stairs to the second floor do have a handrail, with 12 steps to the landing and 11 more to floor 2.
