Have you ever thought about attending a naked yoga class?

Are you having an inner conflict about it being too uncomfortable, being eyed like a “piece of meat,” the germ factor, smell, etc.? Rest assured, you are in the good and vigilant caring hands of a fierce, loving, and kind yogini. You will feel safe, cared for, receptively heard, and seen with love and no ignorant judgment or condemnation. No one will receive touch against their wishes. If you wish to practice without being touched by the instructor, your desire will be thoroughly respected.

In this class, we all understand that yoga is a self-love practice that we utilize to be the best version of ourselves—that is, our most benevolent, relaxed, confident, and authentic.

If you are interested in exploring what it’s like to be in an environment of deep acceptance and unconditional love, you’ve come to the right place!

While this is a nude inspired class you may wear minimal clothing.

What to Bring:

  • Your own water bottle, clean towel, and mat.

What to Drop:

  • Worries, anxiety, and crippling fearful assumptions. Step down into your authentic self.

Why Practice Naked Yoga?

Performing yoga without clothing offers several potential benefits. These can be physical, emotional, and psychological, and they often appeal to individuals looking for a deeper sense of connection with themselves and others.

  1. Enhanced Body Acceptance
  2. Practicing yoga clothing-free can help individuals embrace and accept their bodies as they are, free from societal standards and judgments. It fosters self-love, reducing body shame and insecurity.
  3. Increased Comfort and Freedom
  4. Without clothing, there’s a sense of liberation and freedom. Clothes can restrict movement or cause discomfort during poses, and practicing naked allows for unrestricted movement.
  5. Deeper Mind-Body Connection
  6. Removing the barrier of clothing encourages participants to be more present in their bodies, enhancing mindfulness and the connection between body, mind, and breath.
  7. Improved Skin Health
  8. This form of practice allows the skin to breathe freely, which can be particularly beneficial for maintaining skin health during physical activity that involves sweating.
  9. Deeper Focus
  10. Practicing yoga unclothed ties our asana practice to the foundational observations and chief aspects of yoga—the first two limbs that precede the third limb (asana). These restraints and observations are called the Yamas (restraints) and Niyamas (observations).

In our class, you will have ample opportunities to reflect more deeply upon Yamas and Niyamas as we move through our asanas and pranayama.

This class is open to all experience levels, and fully inclusive to all that wish to attend. Come as you are and leave feeling renewed, connected, and liberated.

Class Tickets: Early Bird $20, Regular $35 ($40 at the door)
