A workshop for trans, GNC, queer and all non-normative masculine bodies— because our masculinity is ours to define.
This workshop is a space for those who live in queer, trans, butch, fluid, or non-conforming masculine expressions, and who want to reconnect with their sensuality in a way that feels powerful and embodied. This workshop will open with a short performance from Jamal Phoenix before moving into a talk exploring the sensual masc body. From there, attendees will be guided through a movement demonstration, which will open up into a practice jam, followed by time afterwards to share and discuss.
Lovers, friends, and siblings of non-normative masculine identifying people are welcome to join the workshop, and bring their love and caring support.
Open to all 18+
About your Presenter:
This worshiping will be facilitated by Jamal Phoenix—A Creole dancer, performer, sex-worker, and sex-educator, existing at the intersection of many identities: transmasculine, gay, non-normative, kinky, and deeply rooted in ancestral, spiritual, and embodied traditions.
