Many neurodivergent folks struggle with aspects of dating and intimacy that rely on social norms, sensory regulation, and attention management. These challenges can lead to frustrating encounters in the bedroom in moments meant to feel intimate and pleasurable. TurnON.love intimacy coaches Dr. Alison Ash and Sebastian Clarke offer concrete tools and language to navigate these dynamics with more clarity, compassion, and collaboration—for both autistic and ADHD folks and their partners.

Dr. Alison Ash, aka Dr. Aly, is a trauma-informed sex and intimacy coach and educator, Stanford University Lecturer, author, and founder of TurnON.love. As a sociologist with a PhD from Stanford, she has a comprehensive understanding of the complex societal challenges that often lead to unsatisfying and disempowering sexual experiences. She designs workshops, courses, and retreats and offers individuals and couples coaching to give others the tools to discover their desires and confidently pursue them.

Dr. Aly is teaming up with her husband and intimacy coach, Sebastian Clarke. He has more than a decade of experience working with neurodivergent folks, supporting them to increase their capacity for healthy relating. Sebastian has developed a wide range of specialized skills to support neurodivergent clients to feel more confident and comfortable navigating intimacy, including helping them to feel and express emotion and self-regulate in meaningful ways, enhance their communication skills, and explore embodied sex-positive pleasure.

Unpack harmful dynamics like parent/child or manager/employee roles that can lead to fawning and resentment and how to shift into more mutual connection. Learn strategies for reducing the emotional and logistical toll of neurodiverse and neurotypical differences while fostering teamwork, trust, and intimacy, whether you're partnered or preparing for future relationships.

Dating and sex can be overwhelming for autistic and ADHD folks due to sensory sensitivities, attention challenges, and societal expectations. Learn how to talk about sensory preferences, regulate arousal and attention, and address common neurodivergent-neurotypical relationship dynamics including initiator-rejector patterns, and hyper vs hypo sexuality. Neurotypical partners will discover how better support their neurodivergent loved ones and co-create alignment around differing needs and desires.
