NMbodied - feat. Ecstatic Dance with Bettina Rothe

  • Hosted by NMbodied
  • Vancouver, BC -

The NMbodied series are a monthly community gathering and embodiment practice for Non-Monogamists in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Cultivate a sense of safety, resiliency and freedom within self, while exploring or deepening the non-monogamous relationships in your life. Process the challenges of Consensual Non-Monogamy (CNM) within the community through conscious relating and embodiment practices.

Each monthly event will feature a new guest facilitator, guiding you through an embodiment practice aimed at connecting with your true authentic expression.

Whether you have been practicing non monogamy for years, or are new to alternative relationships, we encourage you to use these events as an opportunity to ground and connect with yourself, and your inner world.

Join us on February 27th for our Inaugural event, as we plant the seeds of the community you have all been craving.

What to Expect

Opening Circles

Founders Jess Rodwell and Bekah Sarino will begin the evening with an introduction and heart-opening visualization. Followed by opening circles for reflections and getting to know your community members.

Connection Activity

We will guide you through small group practices that will encourage embodied connection with yourself and others. This is a non-sxxual activity.

Embodiment Practice

We are so honored to have the legend of Vancouver’s ecstatic dance community, Bettina Rothe, guide you through a truly sacred evening of heart centered movement and authentic expression.

Don’t let the word ‘dance’ deter you. There are no ‘steps’ or choreography involved. Coordination or a sense of rhythm are not required. Ecstatic dance is an opportunity to simply tune in and express what is alive inside of us.

What to Bring

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in

Water bottle

Comfortable pillow/bolster to sit on

Clean inside runners/sneakers (floor is concrete and not ideal for dancing barefoot)
