Topic:Navigating Transitions in Non-Monogamous Relationships

Relationships are living things - they grow, shift, deepen, drift, evolve, and sometimes end. In non-monogamy, those transitions can be especially complex. We may be moving into new dynamics while maintaining long-standing ones, redefining what connection looks like, or adjusting to changes in intensity, availability, or structure.

This month, we’re exploring the many ways relationships transition:

How do we move from new to more established connections? What happens when an anchor relationship shifts - or ends? How do we navigate big changes like moving in, moving out, shifting labels, or renegotiating agreements? And what supports us through the uncertainty and emotional complexity that often accompanies these changes?

We’ll also talk about how to make space for multiple transitions happening at once, how to stay grounded in our values through instability, and how to meet change with curiosity rather than fear. What helps us honor both the grief and the growth that can come with transition? What tools, boundaries, or community support can make it feel more manageable?

Bring your stories, insights, and questions as we gather to reflect on the dynamic, ever-changing nature of non-monogamous relationships—and how we move through those changes with care, clarity, and compassion.
