Nov 18 ✨ Sasha Wright: Polarity Play [Forest Love EB]

This workshop invites participants into conversation and congruence with our internal parts. We will weave principles of Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy & Internal Family Systems parts work into an immersive guided venture to get in touch some of our resources, vulnerabilities, and protectors from the inside out. This workshop focuses specifically on polarizations within the system: parts that can feel at odds and create internal conflict in our psyche. Embodied explorations will allow us to feel the contours of these seemingly opposed aspects of our deepest truth, gain insight into how they actually work together, and cultivate greater harmony within. Participants will be guided to greet these unsung heroes of the subconscious with curiosity and care, and will have opportunities to moderate level of participation at every turn. This intimate inquiry will include inner explorations, relational revelations, and opportunities to resource and integrate the gems we unearth together.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an evidence-based model of psychotherapy that restores wholeness by addressing and integrating one’s multiple inner “parts.” It is based on the premise that all parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal. https://ifs-institute.com/

Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychotherapy integrates principles of nonviolence and mindfulness with a comprehensive and experiential body-centered methodology. https://hakomiinstitute.com/
