Step into a night of sensual play, laughter, and delicious tension at our Knotty Holidaze Temple Party in New York. This is a space where pleasure meets art, where surrender becomes an act of devotion, and where being tied up might just be the best gift you give or receive this season.

What is a Temple Party

A temple party is whatever it means to you. We bring presence, curiosity, and reverence to our exploration of connection and sensuality. It’s a space to slow down, to breathe, and to discover how much more alive you can feel when you are witnessed and celebrated in your authenticity.

The Knotty Element

For this special gathering, we add in the beauty and artistry of rope. Whether you are being tied, tying another, or simply watching the dance of rope and body in motion, there is magic in every knot. Suspension scenes, decorative rope, playful restraint, and sensual wrapping will be part of the night. You are welcome to participate as deeply or as gently as feels right for you.

Rope in this space isn’t about power over. It’s about trust, communication, and the exquisite surrender of being fully seen and held. You might discover the joy of being wrapped like a present, of offering yourself as the gift, or of weaving beauty into another’s body.

Who Should Attend

This evening is for those who long for more connection, curiosity, and play in their bodies. You honor consent, communicate clearly, and want to explore in a space that values respect, authenticity, and care.

You don’t have to be a rope expert to attend. Beginners are welcome. Experienced riggers and rope bottoms are also invited to share their skills and their joy. All that’s required is an open heart and a willingness to explore. And if you don't care about rope there are still plenty of "naughty" things to do too! ;)

Details

Doors open at 7:00 PM and close at 8:00 PM sharp for the opening circle. This is where we connect, introduce ourselves, set boundaries, and co-create the tone of safety and permission for the night. No late arrivals once the circle begins. The closing circle will be at midnight.

Please bring:

• Any snacks or non-alcoholic beverages you’d like for the night

• Rope, if you have it, or simply your curiosity to experience it

• Toys, accessories, or anything that enhances your comfort or pleasure

• An optional wrapped erotic white elephant gift to exchange at the door

• Clothing that makes you feel sensual, safe, or festive

What to Expect

A night of connection, laughter, and exploration guided by Monique, Peter, Skye, and James. Each brings their own mastery of energy, presence, and play. Together, we create a container that feels both sacred and mischievous.

You might find yourself tied under the mistletoe, laughing in a cuddle pile, dancing with rope against skin, or sitting quietly as others explore around you. Everything is optional, and curiosity is enough.

All genders, orientations, and bodies are celebrated here. We especially welcome queer, trans, and nonbinary attendees.

Peter Petersen - Awaken As Love Lead Facilitator

Peter has been teaching qigong for 20 years and has been a certified massage therapist for the last 18 years. Peter has been teaching in health clubs, hospitals, retirement villas, and several different wellness/spa resorts in Mexico and the United States, such as Rancho La Puerta, Mayacamas Ranch, and Present Moment Retreat.

Peter is also a personal wellness coach. This Qigong practice helps people ground themselves into their “now” to increase their present moment awareness of their behaviors, and find simple solutions to problematic habits such as: eating, moving, negative thinking, and sleeping. The result of this tool box of healthy information is that clients become their own health advocate and regain a sense of stability, peace, and well-being into their everyday lives.

James Marshall

Meet James Marshall, founder of UniKINK, a passionate Shibari mentor and teacher dedicated to creating a safe space where community connection, meditation, and mindset converge. James harnesses the captivating art of Shibari, a form of Japanese rope bondage, to foster deep connections within the community. His teachings emphasize the meditative aspect of Shibari, allowing individuals to explore their inner selves while strengthening their mindset. James views Shibari as more than just an art form - it's a tool for personal growth and community building. Join us as we unravel the intricate beauty of Shibari, promoting a sense of trust, respect, and mindfulness.

Skye

Always curious for knowledge and exploration , she is a newer rope bottom giving her take on Shibari. Early in her journey of development she is committed to creating a connected community.
