For Oakland Pride we’re hosting the debut of Safe Words East Bay.

San Francisco’s longest-running queer comedy showcase is expanding across the Bay! Join us at Fluid510 for the launch of Safe Words East Bay, a night of punchy, political, and unapologetically queer comedy that’s been making waves at the SF Eagle for years.

This powerhouse lineup of comics and queens who know how to bring the laughs with headliner Marquis The Honey Bear. Marquis is an Emmy-nominated producer, writer, actor, and community organizer. He was also Mr. Bear LA 2023. Through his work and his signature event Black Bear Joy, he’s been creating space for Black bears and gender-nonconforming folks to be seen and celebrated. Bold, hilarious, and brimming with heart, Marquis brings his one-of-a-kind presence to the Safe Words stage for his East Bay headlining debut.

Also featuring the comedic talents of Kristee Ono (Gen Con), Wonder Dave (LGBTLOL Comedy Festival), Marcus Williams (Comedy Central Clusterfest), TammyTeaLove (Cobbs, The Comedy Store), and host Kat Walker (Queens and Comedy).
