Fire play is a seductive and intentional form of sensation play that blends heat, anticipation, and trust into an unforgettable exchange of desire. For this Valentine’s themed edition, Flames of Passion invites attendees to explore how fire can heighten intimacy, deepen connection, and turn vulnerability into something electrifyingly beautiful. This class will cover essential foundations while also moving into more intermediate-level techniques, making it perfect for those just beginning their fire play journey as well as experienced practitioners looking to add more passion, precision, and confidence to their scenes! All skill levels are welcome.

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to safely construct fire wands and use them with confidence and care. We’ll explore dry body fire play as well as wet body play (including cupping techniques), focusing on pacing, placement, and reading a bottom’s responses in real time. The class will also include live demonstrations of more advanced fire play techniques, offering a rare opportunity to witness higher-level applications that deepen understanding and spark inspiration. This is an experience you truly won’t want to miss. 🔥

WHAT TO EXPECT

Workshop: This is an in-person workshop in a beautiful and private studio space in Manhattan. The workshop will include 2 hours of discussion & instruction where you will be able to receive and explore new techniques and tips. If you desire, you may receive hands-on practice and demonstration.

Intended Outcomes: You will gain new ways to connect and bond with yourself and others that feel intimate, exciting and invigorating. You will be able to connect and explore your own relationship to this practice and all the yummy sensations possible.

Jam: This will be a participation based gathering where we focus on practicing what you learned in the workshop or know within the context of the workshop. This time is meant for all to be involved on some level within comfort and personal boundaries to be respected. During this time we will open the night up to all other conventional forms of kink play. (No full-on sex play)

Obsidian Playground is an intentional, BIPOC-centered space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color of all genders and orientations. If you do not identify as BIPOC, you may attend only if you are accompanying a BIPOC partner. We reserve the right to remove anyone who disrupts the comfort or safety of the space.
