WHAT TO EXPECT

Step into a sacred sanctuary where love, joy, and authenticity reign. This is an event that celebrates community! A place where connections flourish, stories are shared openly, and every individual shines as their true self.

We begin with an Opening Circle, where we set intentions, establish safety and consent agreements, and invite you to share what you’re hoping to receive from the night. This is the heart of the experience, grounding us in trust, awareness, and mutual respect.

From there, we’ll ease into a guided breathwork and mindfulness exercise, preparing both body and mind for the journey ahead. Through breath and presence, we’ll activate our life force energy and align with the sacred flow of energetic touch.

This evening is designed for exploration, relaxation, and sensory connection, weaving in elements of tantra and queer magic.

🤎 Sacred Energy & Intention: Learn how to infuse touch with presence, attunement, and energetic exchange, transforming simple contact into a deeply connective experience.

🤎 Guided Energetic Massage: Explore the basics of intuitive sacred touch, including pressure, rhythm, and techniques to soothe and nurture the body while maintaining energetic boundaries.

🤎 Partnered Practice: Whether solo or with a partner, you’ll have time to practice giving and receiving, always within your comfort level. Through mindful touch, we honor the body as a temple and a vessel for joy and healing.

🤎 Sensory Elements: Engage with textures, oils, and optional blindfolded experiences to heighten awareness, deepen trust, and invite joyful exploration.

🤎 BIPOC Magic & Embodied Ritual: We honor touch as a sacred act which transcends binaries and limitations. In this space, we reclaim intimacy, celebrate sensuality, and affirm our connection to self, others, led by our host of the evening that will guide us.

This is an opt-in space, meaning participation is entirely up to you. Whether you choose to receive, give, observe, or simply be present, your boundaries will always be honored.

This is not a class or workshop that is tailored towards massage education. This event is not led by a professional masseuse. This is a guided and structured social environment where safety, basic techniques, and scene etiquette will be modeled and provided.

WHO CAN ATTEND

Obsidian PIayground is an intentional, BIPOC-centered space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color of all genders and orientations. If you do not identify as BIPOC, you may attend only if you are accompanying a BIPOC partner. We reserve the right to remove anyone who disrupts the comfort or safety of the space. You must be 18+ to attend.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING

🤎Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement (This event is Minimal/Optional clothing. Massage oil will be present in the space, so be mindful with your attire if you wish to partake).

🤎A water bottle is recommended for hydration!

🤎A large towel.

LATE ENTRY & REFUNDS

To protect the space and ensure a seamless experience for all, doors will close promptly. Late arrivals may not be admitted, and refunds will not be available. Refund requests must be made up to seven days prior to the event.
