Queer- and neurodivergent-centered rope skillshare and community meetup in Olympia. Learn, practice, and connect in a low-pressure, consent-forward environment. All experience levels welcome!
This event is for anyone 18+ interested in exploring rope and/or helping build rope community in Olympia.
Our gatherings center queer and neurodivergent experiences and aim to create a space where those individuals feel especially safe and supported.
Cis/het men are welcome as participants, provided they approach the space with curiosity, respect, and nonsexual intent. This isn’t a place to cruise or look for partners, but to learn, connect, and share in community.
If you identify as queer, you’re queer enough.
Rope is for every body.
An afternoon of connection, curiosity, and learning together.
We’ll begin with a short welcome circle and consent reminders, then move into open practice time and casual peer-to-peer sharing.
This time, my long-distance partner @XTCatalyst will join us to help demo a few simple, playful ways to enjoy rope that don’t require fancy knotwork — just a sense of fun and connection.
This is a social and educational space, not a play party:
🚫 No nudity
🚫 No sexual activity
🚫 No scening
Floorwork only (no suspension points).
