This rope workshop will be a hands-on class with active participation and rope tying. First, we will briefly analyze the various parts of a box tie and discuss the differences between a T shape (stemmed TK) vs a V shape (stemless TK). Then, we will primarily focus on tying a low-hand V shape TK. Looking at various accommodations for different types of bodies, we will look at shoulder setting/body manipulation, evaluating our starting point of the TK, decreasing lateral movement of the elbows, and rope aesthetic on the forearms.
