Latex is more than just a material. It’s a cultural artifact with its own history, chemistry, and rituals of care.
In this class we will explore the essentials of latex care so your garments can say supple and shiny! We’ll cover everything from the basics of shining and daily care to the essentials of repairing small tears before they become big heartbreaks. We’ll learn about chlorination and when it’s useful and necessary and by the end of the class you will be able to care for your gear with confidence. Towards the end of class we will discuss some fun scene ideas to do with your gear.
Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave empowered!
PRESENTER:
Dolly Diatima is a Persian American professional dominatrix, writer, fetish model, and lifestyle kinkster. As a nonbinary and neurodivergent sex worker on the ace spectrum, they offer a unique perspective into kink and sexuality which they work to bring into their sessions as a domme as well as into their writings and classes. They are currently one semester away from a BA in Philosophy and can often be found discussing the intersection of kink and philosophical concepts on their blog. After graduation, they plan to pursue an AASECT sexuality educator certification. In their spare time, they enjoy drawing in the pop surrealism style, watching extreme horror films, and collecting vintage fashion.
