This workshop is a practical and affirming guide to navigating the menopause transition. Learn the physiology of the stages—perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause—and discover tools to support your body, mind, and spirit along the way. We'll explore how nutrition, exercise, sleep, mindfulness, and self-advocacy can support wellness during this time. You’ll also create your own Menopause Manifesto, a personal roadmap to help you claim an empowered relationship with this potent transformation.
PRESENTER:
Lasara Firefox Allen, MSW (they/them), is The Genderqueer Menopause Coach, founder of a trauma-informed, gender-expansive menopause care practice serving trans, nonbinary, and genderqueer individuals. Not finding needed resources when they hit perimenopause, Lasara began self-educating to advocate for their own care. That journey ignited their commitment to change the landscape of menopause care for queer and trans communities.
Lasara is a certified Menopause Doula through The Menopause School and a menopause coach with a thriving practice. They are the author of Genderqueer Menopause (forthcoming from North Atlantic Books, 2025), and Magickal Menopause (forthcoming from Llewellyn, 2026).
