Connect with non monogamous community in the south bay over a shared potluck meal and conversation.
Come share stories, build connections, and meet new friends in a welcoming space centered on ethical non-monogamy, non-traditional relationships, and open-hearted community.
This community values consent, honesty, authenticity, vulnerability, kindness, and accountability. You don’t have to be dating or non-monogamous to attend—if our values resonate with you, you are invited to attend.
OPEN COMMUNITY EVENT RULES
Attending these events indicates your agreement to read and abide by the event rules.
EVENT CONDUCT
This is a PG event.
Clothing stays on during the entire event.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Everything shared in this group should be treated as confidential and private.
Do not share stories that name others without their permission.
Do not greet people outside this group in a way that could out them.
PHYSICAL CONSENT
Hugging, kissing, and cuddling may occur between consenting adults.
Always ask before entering someone’s personal space.
A clear, enthusiastic “yes” response means yes —anything else (silence, “maybe,” hesitation, or no) means no.
If someone says no, respond gracefully and move on.
CONVERSATIONAL CONSENT
Be mindful of comfort and interest levels around conversation topics that may be different than your own.
Specifically do not assume that all non-monogamous people are also sex positive, voyeuristic, or exhibitionists. Some are, some aren't.
If you’d like to share something that includes explicit content (sex, kink, bdsm) ask first. Only proceed if everyone present gives an enthusiastic yes.
If anyone does not consent—or if the response is unclear—do not share. Either table the conversation or move it to a private space where all participants have opted in.
HOLDING SPACE FOR EACH OTHER
You are encouraged (but not required) to hold space for each other, including yourself.
Holding space means letting people exist in their current state of emotional, mental, or physical being without a mask, assumptions, judgment or unwanted advice.
TICKETS
An eventbrite ticket is required for each attendee.
RSVPing here on Plura is highly encouraged—it lets others know you're attending, loops you into the event chat, and helps build connection. Please note: a Plura RSVP alone does not hold you a space at the event.
See the NOTAFLOF ticket policy at the end if the cost of a ticket would keep you from attending.

This event is being hosted at a private residence in Live Oak, Santa Cruz County. Address will be shared in the confirmation email directly after purchasing a ticket. Do not share the address without permission from a host. Direct all address requests to Rose.
HOSTS
Donna & John
ACCESSIBILITY
Single story home. Tight passages would make this difficult for wheelchair or walker access.

DISCUSSION TOPIC
There are so many different kinds of non-monogamy.
What are all the different kinds of non-monogamy styles or communities that you have experienced, or are curious about learning more about?
I would like to have one more topic to have for discussion, email me or drop an idea into the chat if you'd like to contribute a topic for discussion.
POTLUCK FOOD
This is a dinnertime potluck—please bring food or drinks to share. Home-cooked or takeout is welcome. Gluten-free and low-sugar options are often appreciated, and wholesome, filling dishes are always a great choice. Please write in the plura chat what you will be bringing.

DRINKING/SMOKING
No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. Cannabis products can be used in moderation, smoking out on the street is ok. (For tobacco please take a walk, the smell makes Rose nauseated). Alcohol is BYOB and should be consumed responsibly and in moderation, as it is not the focus of the event.
