Phone Sex & Beyond! w/ Alicia V. Ortiz

Words are powerful, and through their music the group inspired a generation of sexual liberation and safer sex. Our own adventurous fantasies, shy desires and explicit boundaries are right at our fingertips - through our phones!

Come dive into the world of words and learn phone sex/messaging skills to navigate all aspects of new and existing relationships - including consent, boundaries, and emotional safety. Workshop attendees will get to practice language skills like tone of voice, descriptive language, creative selfie photo techniques, and colorful verbs!

Participants will:

Understand the benefits of phone sex to deepen intimacy and discuss boundaries.

Shed self-consciousness and build confidence around phone sex/messaging.

Develop new written and verbal techniques like tone of voice, descriptive language, creative selfie photo techniques, colorful verbs.

Alicia Ortiz (a.LEE.cee.a) is based in Boston and has spent her career at the intersection of music and community action. She’s a professional vocalist and performer, and a facilitator/consultant teaching self-defense, assertiveness, effective communication and healthy relationships.
