Looking for love and connection but would rather not do it the usual way, whether at a bar or on an app? SheMagickEvents and The Domme Kat present a fun and unique way to answer the "is there chemistry" question. Together we'll explore, movement, touch, and creativity with this sapphic wrestling dating event. No, you won't be body slamming your potential crush (not unless you want to, of course😉. This is an event for beginners to be able to explore joy filled play while getting to know each other deeper.

Wrestling is sporty, fun, sexy and a super unique way to form connection. Whether you're an athletic person or just curious about connecting with new partners or friends in a playful and exciting way, come explore wrestling with your queer community.

Come experience wrestling in a space built for sapphic, T/GNC folks! This event is not for cis men. If you do not fit the demographic, do NOT purchase a ticket. You will not be given a refund for a purchase "by mistake". Trans Men are welcome!

What Can I Expect?

• The night will begin with icebreakers meant to help everyone get to know each other and loosen up.
• You'll then learn how to safely start the wrestling action, a few easy and beginner moves to try out, and some steamy ways to show off on the mats (or in the bedroom).
• After the structured, learning portion open play will begin
• Various card and board games will be on hand (during open play) to allow for breaks and/or other ways to form connection outside of wrestling.

Attire

If you’re getting on the mats with us, please wear something you’re comfortable moving in. Yoga pants, gym shorts, sports bras, and other sporty gear are perfect. Please leave jewelry at home and avoid anything sharp that could scratch you, your new crush, or puncture the mats. Even if NOT getting on the mats, the venue is a shoeless space. You can wear socks or slippers if you don’t want to be barefooted (no street shoes).

• Jewelry, watches or anything pokey that can puncture the mats, scratch your wrestling partner or snag and injure you.
• Shoes on the mats unless they are specifically wrestling boots or a non-street shoe like ballet slippers. You can have bare feet, socks, or other soft foot coverings.
• Baggy clothes you and your new friend (or crush) will get tangled in.

Health And Hygiene

If you are a human who shaves, I recommend shaving the night before so you don’t have any broken skin touching the communal mats. Make sure your toenails are trimmed, you are clean and smell fresh (this includes your breath. You're going to be getting close folks). Please check yourself for any signs of illness, skin rashes or lesions. Cover any wounds.

Yes, if women-aligned spaces work for you, you are very welcome to join us.

Will the wrestling be intense?

No, this event is for beginners AND people seeking romantic connections. The wrestling will allow for connection and be kept easy for you to learn and try out. You do not need to be some super athlete to come and enjoy.

Can I bring a friend?

Of course, you are welcome to bring someone who fits the demographic of this event. Especially if they will help you feel comfortable, and will enjoy participating, watching, or playing the card/board games on the side and chatting with others in the space.

Do I have to participate in the open play afterwards?

No, there will be other games and activities in the space for folks to still be able to connect.

Will there be refreshments?

Yes, we will have a few snack items to munch on! We will also have red and white wine available.
