Play Party Protocol: Etiquette for Parties, Dungeons & Events

Play parties run on more than chemistry—they run on community agreements. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to read the room, follow venue rules (and understand why they matter), practice enthusiastic consent, communicate boundaries clearly, and set yourself up for success before you even arrive.

We’ll cover practical prep (travel, accommodations, packing essentials, hygiene), smart social strategy (bringing a friend/lover, check-ins, code words and nonverbal signals), expectation management, respecting people and spaces, navigating layouts, substance awareness (including why “too intoxicated” gets messy fast), and the often-forgotten final step: cleaning up after yourself so the space stays usable, safe, and welcoming.

You’ll leave with a Play Party Prep Plan you can reuse for any event—so you can show up grounded, considerate, and fully present.

This is for:

  1. First-timers who want to feel prepared
  2. Regulars who want to “upgrade” etiquette and confidence
  3. Couples, singles, and friend groups attending together
  4. Anyone who wants to build stronger community skills in play spaces

Content note: This is etiquette + consent + logistics focused; no explicit demonstrations required.

This workshop will be recorded with closed captions.
