Welcome to Playhouse: Erotes, an immersive evening where intimacy, atmosphere, and performance intertwine.

Inspired by the Erotes, the ancient Greek personifications of desire, this edition of Playhouse explores three emotional forces:

Eros — attraction, spark, and magnetic pull

Himeros — urgency, intensity, and craving

Pothos — longing, anticipation, and the ache of what draws you closer

Together, they form desire in motion: the glance, the pull, the chase, the surrender.

In Collaboration with Hit Me Up NYC

This edition of Playhouse is presented in collaboration with Hit Me Up, bringing together members of both communities inside Hit Me Up’s expansive, two-floor venue in Lower Manhattan.

Highlights:

Immersive performances and ritualized moments inspired by attraction, pursuit, and longing, unfolding throughout the night

Over 7,000 sq. ft. of multi-sensory space with multiple rooms to explore

Comfortable lounge areas for observing, resting, and connecting

Themed rooms with curated environments designed to support interaction and expression

Full bar and DJ programming guiding the energy of the evening

Professional sound and lighting enhancing movement, bodies, and performance

Evening Flow

9:00 PM – Midnight

Guests enter a myth-inspired environment where performances emerge throughout the space. Expect sculptural tableaux, gold-adorned bodies, ritual costuming, choreographed movement, rope-based artistry, and slow-burn scenes set to deliberately paced music.

Midnight – Late

As the night deepens, the atmosphere shifts. Performances evolve, the space becomes more fluid, and guests are invited to explore connection and expression within the environment. Desire builds, curiosity lingers, and the experience opens outward.

Arrival Notes:

Doors close promptly at 10:30 PM, followed by a required orientation.

Please DM a host in advance if you anticipate arrival issues.

Membership Required

This is a members-only event, open to approved members of Night Owls or Hit Me Up.

You do not need to be a member of both communities to attend.

Dress Code: Erotes in Gold

Gold is the focal point. Build your look around metallics, shimmer, or gold-toned accents, paired with neutral base colors like white, cream, nude, or ivory.

Think draped fabrics, tailored silhouettes, expressive layers, statement jewelry, and intentional styling. Texture and skin may be part of the look.

Dress with intention.

Step Into the Night

Playhouse is an immersive experience where guests may also become part of the spectacle. Those interested in participating in curated moments or live scenes may apply in advance via the Playhouse: Erotes Scene Form.

Participation is optional and subject to approval.
