🎉 We are excited to announce another event for the Asbury Park / Jersey Shore Plura Community! We will be attending the “Retro Pool Party” at the Asbury Hotel Pool.

👋 Please note that this is a community-building event. It is NOT a “pick up” event and it is NOT a play/sex event. The purpose of this event is to make friends and build community. Please see the “Community Guidelines” below for more information. All attendees will be required to read the community guidelines before the event, and to give verbal consent to adhere to the guidelines at the event.

WHAT IS A RETRO POOL PARTY

WHEN

🗓 Saturday July 19. Please arrive between 5:00 and 5:30pm.

WHERE

📍 The pool of the Asbury Hotel 210 Fifth Ave, Asbury Park, NJ, 07712.

WHAT TO EXPECT

🌈 When you arrive at the pool, look for your host, Ali. She will wearing a rainbow pride scarf/headband. Introduce yourself to Ali and she will review the “Community Guidelines” (see below) with you. All members must verbally agree to the community guidelines.

🤝 Ali will then point you to the co-hosts, Nate, Tab, and Wes. Nate, Tab, and Wes will help you get set up and will introduce you to some people in our group.

👙 Then, we will simply hang out at the pool party together.

🤿 Some things you might want to bring:

1. Swimsuit if you plan to go in the pool; otherwise, clothing to lounge poolside
2. Layered clothing in case it gets cold
3. "Retro" clothing/accessories are optional
4. ID if you plan to drink alcohol
5. Credit card if you plan to eat or drink
6. (No need to bring a towel; towels are provided)
