About the Class

Toys are not the competition. They are the backup dancers, the lighting crew, the bass drop.

This workshop is about claiming toys as powerful, pleasure amplifying collaborators in your sex life. We are talking about the buzz against skin, the slow tease of pressure, the way a well chosen toy can take a moan from soft to shaking. No shame. No weirdness. No ego bruising.

We will unpack the stories that say toys mean someone is not enough and replace them with a sex positive truth: more sensation is more sensation. Through guided discussion and optional exercises, you will explore pleasure mapping, dirty and direct communication, and how to introduce a toy into partnered play in a way that feels hot, intentional, and mutually charged.

Learn how to turn “Can we try this?” into electric anticipation. Discover how toys can heighten oral, penetration, edging, power play, and aftercare. Get recommendations for quality brands, body safe materials, and trusted shops so your toy drawer feels curated, not chaotic.

This space is playful, explicit, and celebratory. We are here to expand what feels good, to experiment with curiosity, and to make pleasure a shared adventure.

About the Instructor

Steph Zapata (@RiseWSteph) is a well-seasoned NuyoRican award-winning, transformative sex educator, professional dirty talker and impact artist.

As a sensual practitioner, they lovingly guide folks toward finding pleasure and connection beyond societal restraints, making room for everyone. Their approach is both playful and skillful; honoring that sexual liberation invites radical self-acceptance, far removed from shame.

They prioritize pleasure as a radical tool for healing and self-reclamation, viewing it as a pathway to understanding our most authentic selves. Through kink, Steph emphasizes that play can heal the scars of colonial shame, and offer space to reclaim agency. Find out more on Steph's website.

The waiting room opens 15 minutes early at 4:45PM PT. Instruction begins at 5PM PT.
