Cuddle, Kink, Touch - Accessing Pleasure Through Consent with Jax

Let’s deepen our understanding of consent through embodied practice and open new pathways to pleasure through platonic, erotic, and kinky touch. In this workshop, we’ll explore how consent can be a living, breathing practice—not just a tagline, acronym or checkbox. Using the Wheel of Consent as our foundation and drawing from familiar frameworks, we’ll dive in and practice what it means to truly know what we want—and to ask for it.

Together, we’ll explore the nuances of giving and receiving touch in ways that feel empowering, authentic, and aligned. You’ll learn how to recognize your desires, speak them aloud, and hold space for others to do the same—even when it feels risky, risqué, revolutionary or very vulnerable.

Rooted in my experience facilitating consent practices in platonic, kink, and sex-positive spaces, this session offers you tools and practices to take into every area of your life - whether you're navigating cuddles, kink, or something in between.

The class will be held on Zoom. The waiting room opens 15 minutes early at 5:45PM PST. Instruction begins at 6PM PST.

About the Instructor

Pleasure Facilitator, self-proclaimed DC Cuddle Ambassador, Kink and Sex Toy Enthusiast, Jax is dedicated to fostering safer, inclusive spaces for pleasure, intimacy and connection as a Consent and Intimacy Coach, Guide, Educator, Consultant, Platonic and Erotic Bodyworker and Companion and Local Sex Shop Educator. Jax is an Authentic Consent Trainer and a Wheel of Consent Facilitator-in-Training, specializing in facilitating somatically focused sexuality coaching and practice. Jax centers her work on empowering Black, POC, Queer, and gender expansive individuals, couples and groups through the possibilities of pleasure along the East Coast.
