Have you been longing to be held… to surrender, to feel safe being bound and cared for?

My sessions are designed to create a sacred space where you can truly let go — where you are seen, honored, and supported to surrender.

Shibari, the art of Japanese rope, is far more than physical — it’s a meditation, a dance of energy, breath, and connection. It’s a space where you can relax into your body, explore your desires, and be witnessed in your truth. Most of us spend our lives holding so much — here, you are invited to release it all and simply be.

I am Heather Rhea Dawn, a Shibari Artist and Healer devoted to the transformational power of shibari. My background in Dance, Tantra, bodywork, and energy healing weaves into every session, creating an experience that is loving, intentional, and deeply embodied.

Since 2018, I have been fully immersed in Shibari — studying, practicing, and teaching around the world — from Japan to Europe, Mexico, and Thailand. My practice is rooted in presence, consent, and connection, inviting you into a journey of healing, transformation, and awakening.

Shibari has a deep reverence for breath, presence, meditation, sensation play, transformation, primal expression, and love. This work is not about pain — I am not a sadist — though I have worked beautifully with masochists who are seeking to explore within an attuned space.

Where: Escondido, California

Duration: 2 or 3 hours (depending on your desire)

I also offer full-day Shibari Massage Retreats, which include massage, energy work, and sound healing — a truly immersive journey of surrender and renewal.
