You’ve been here before… just not like this.

Prom Night After Dark is your chance to revisit the ritual with intention, confidence, and choice. No awkward expectations. No pressure to perform. Just a room full of adults who know how to connect, communicate, and create something real.

Step into an evening of dressed-up energy, slow tension, and playful possibility. The music, the movement, the glances across the room, it’s all there, but this time, you decide how the night unfolds.

Dark Circus Menagerie creates a calm, facilitated environment where structure and freedom exist together. The space is actively held, expectations are clear, and consent leads every interaction, allowing you to relax into the experience rather than manage it.

Dance if you want. Mingle if you prefer. Explore if the moment feels right. Nothing is required. Everything is optional. Everything is intentional.

Dress to impress; formalwear, dark elegance, suits, dresses, or your own take on after-hours prom aesthetic. Show up as the version of yourself that doesn’t need permission anymore.

What You Are Stepping Into

This is a structured, facilitated environment designed for experienced participants to apply previously learned skills in a calm and well-supported setting.

The space includes:

• Clearly defined activity areas

• Visible supervision and facilitation

• Controlled pathways for movement and engagement

Participants may choose to:

• Engage in structured partner exercises

• Observe respectfully from designated areas

• Take breaks in the social space

Participation is always optional and guided by communication, consent, and adherence to event protocols.

The Dark Circus Menagerie Difference

Dark Circus Menagerie events have been cultivated over time to balance freedom with structure. This is not a free-for-all, nor is it chaotic energy. The environment is actively held by experienced facilitators who support consent, communication, and accountability throughout the night.

If you have attended previous Menagerie gatherings, you already know the rhythm. If this is your first, expect clarity, consistency, and a culture that allows you to relax into the experience rather than manage it.

This is a gathering for adults who already know how to move through our community space with respect.

Those who negotiate clearly.

Those who honor a no as much as a yes.

Those who value tension, restraint, and consent as part of the experience.

You do not need to perform or prove anything here.

Prerequisite: If you have completed the Getting Started Class and show up grounded and accountable, you are already considered a member and belong in this room.

If not, you must complete that class prior to the event.

Note: All rope events are conducted in a structured, instructor-monitored environment. Participation is limited to individuals who have completed the prerequisite training. This is a sober environment. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted.
