Qu33ring S*x

Welcome in new beliefs about s*x, intimacy and queerness with this workshop with Bear and Fifi.

Cis-gendered, heterosexual romance continues to be the default representation that dominates our culture. We rarely see representations of partnership and erotic intimacy that are queer or trans because ways of loving that do not fit the default standard are still considered taboo in the mainstream.

Our social conditioning impacts how we think about gender, sex, & eroticism, and anyone who desires anything outside of the cis-gendered, heterosexual default is likely to have confusing, challenging feelings about their authentic sexuality.

Qu33ring Sx will begin the process of gently welcoming in new beliefs about sex and intimacy, and creating intentional sex-positive containers for solo folks and partners. This 90-minute hands-on workshop will help with embodying queerness as principle, philosophy, and ongoing practice that rejects the defaults and standards for sex and intimacy and drops you into your underrepresented desires.

Key Takeaways:

  • Moving away from the subconscious defaults about sex, gender, and partnership
  • How to become more trauma informed and consent centered
  • Non-monogamy, kink, Tantric practices and more about “alternative” relationship and sex dynamics

What to expect:

  • Solo & Partnered exercises (you're not required to be partnered to participate)
  • Activities that call for some form of movement (dress comfortably)
  • This is not a pl@y party, but there will be an opportunity to engage in guided exercises that involve sensual touch.

Facilitator Bios

Bear (he/him) and Fifi (she/they) are QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color), polyamorous, Tantric practitioners from New York City. Their mission is to expand the way human beings relate to themselves, one another, and the world around them. They operate a coaching, consulting, and productions business where they create safer sex positive spaces for people to explore the closeted parts of themselves. Their work challenges the binaries, barriers, and rigid standards that limit human connection, and offers alternative ways of relating that center safety + consent, authenticity, and personal agency.
