Quartz Queer Arts Market and Art Supply Swap

Our monthly Queer Arts market is embracing solarpunk and sustainability by giving away free art supplies! Y'all brought the goods 🎨 So we brought it back!!! 🧶

Our community was so generous at last month's art supply swap, we now have free art supplies to give away!!! The craft room @placecommunity will once be open during our queer arts vendor mart with free to take donations for everyone who stops by.

Solarpunk and environmental consciousness is part of our October 11th Quartz Rebels Rising theme. What better way to cut down on overconsumotipn while getting resources in hands that can use them than an art supply swap!

If you would like to add your donations feel free to bring those day off too! We know our creative community can benefit.

And look out for more posts of next months offerings as we we'll also be partnering with @stopcopcitybayarea for a teach in around abolitionism. They have an ongoing call for art donations to raise funds towards ending the construction of a $47 million dollar police currently being built in Ohlone territory. Maybe utilize some of what you've acquired from the swap to create something to donate towards the effort?
