Looking for unique ways to get out and find connection? We've got you covered in our first Queer Karaoke event. We'll start this queer dating mixer with group games and icebreakers to help everyone in the room get to know each other. Intentional Vibes For The Night: chilling at a friend's place with some cool a$$ folks. Get off the apps and in person for a night of games, music, and fun.

And before you ask: No, you do NOT have to sing. No one will be made to get on the mic. The brave, bold, playful, exhibitionist, and extroverted among us will likely lead the way onto the mic, but there will be other activities to engage in if you don't particularly want to sing.

This February in honor of Black History Month, us Black folks get an extra discount to make it even easier to get out and come have fun!

What can you expect?

• We will begin on time. Arrive as early as 6:30pm in order to be all set for our 7pm start.
• Games & icebreakers from 7-8pm. Queeraoke from 8-11pm. You'll want to arrive for the games & icebreakers as that will be used to help everyone loosen up and connect comfortably.

7pm-8pm

• We'll start the night with icebreakers to allow the entire group to get to know one another and feel comfortable and loose. The icebreakers will center around music and media. All games will encourage playfulness and connection.
• The night will then move into smaller group games. This will allow wider conversation and more intimate connection before we get into the karaoke.

8pm-11pm

• Around 8pm, Queeraoke will begin. There will be games left out in the front area for those who would like to engage away from the main karaoke stage.
• Folks will be made to rotate tables sporadically during the karaoke portion to allow for new conversations and connections.

Remember: This is NOT a speed dating event. This is a mixer with activities and fun to allow all the single folks in the room to make connections. Whether new friends or new love.

• Dress however makes you feel happy and authentic!

Can I come if I am poly and have a partner?

• Yes! This event is for all who are searching for love or more partners. However your relationship(s) take shape.

Who is this event for?

• This event is for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community

Will we be in the main bar area?

• No, Talon Bar has a private event space downstairs that will be for our complete and private use. When you enter the bar, you'll see a neon sign that says: No Exit. Head down the stairs and you'll find us.
