Let's dance, connect, ground, and find a little bit of joy in this chaotic world. RECLAIM is a daytime dance party for people who are BIPOC, Queer, or both!

🎶 The Music

DJ Champagne is the enchanter of deep, infectious dance grooves and a fun-sophisticated-sexy atmosphere.

DJ CHAMPAGNE GREW UP IN HAYWARD, CA AS THE OLDEST OF THREE. SHE ATTENDED SAN JOSE STATE UNIVERSITY AND HER LOVE AND ENTHUSIASM FOR THE ART OF DJING STARTED DURING HER FIRST SEMESTER. SHE BOUGHT HER FIRST PAIR OF TURNTABLES AT THE AGE OF 18 WHILE BEING A RADIO PERSONALITY ON CAMPUS. AFTER DOMINATING THE AIR WAVES SHE EXTENDED HER LOVE OF DJING BEYOND RADIO AND INTO THE CLUB SCENES, CONFERENCES FOR NAME BRANDS, WORKSHOPS, FESTIVALS AND COUNTLESS PRIVATE EVENTS.

FOR OVER A DECADE CHAMPAGNE HAS CAPTIVATED THE HEARTS OF OTHERS THROUGH HER MUSICAL SKILLS AND DYNAMIC, CHARISMATIC PERSONALITY. ACCLAIMED FOR NOT ONLY HER DJ SKILLS, BUT ALSO AN AWARD WINNING ACTRESS, PRODUCER, MANAGER AND MC/HOST, DJ CHAMPAGNE CONTINUES TO EDUCATE AND INFORM OTHERS THAT NOT ONLY ARE FEMALE DJS BEAUTIFUL VIA SPIRIT BUT TALENTED WITHIN AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE ART OF DJING.

🌀 Our Community

RECLAIM is about creating a vibrant space where bipoc and queer folks can come together, connect, and vibe as one community. Our goal? To build bridges and unite, so we can dance our way into the future we’ve been dreaming of.

We’re calling all BIPOC folks—whether you’re Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color—to join us on the dance floor. And we’re calling all QUEER folks—gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, questioning, gender-nonconforming, or however you proudly define your queerness.

To be clear: if you’re white and queer, come on down! If you’re brown and straight, we want you too! The only thing we ask is that you bring your best self and be ready to groove.

Our Vision

RECLAIM envisions a world where bipoc and queer people are moving towards liberation together. We center the Black, the Brown, and Queer because now, more than ever, we need fresh visions to create a thriving world for all—regardless of who we love, how we identify, or the melanin in our skin.

Our mission is to unite BIPOC and Queer dancers through communal movement, self-expression, and meaningful exchange. By dancing together, we empower ourselves to build deeper connections, find courage, and co-create a more just and compassionate world.

RECLAIM stands in solidarity with Black, Brown, Queer, Indigenous, Palestinian, Congolese, Sudanese and all people resisting oppressive systems.
