RED… away from the cis-male gaze

Red is open exclusively to queer guests who identify as other than cis-gender male.

What is red to you? The color of passion, the heat of fire. Blood, the liquid life force in us all. Dig deeper and you’ll uncover even more. Do you see red paisley and think of plunging your fist deep inside a greedy and hungry hole? Does it scream CODE RED….where sensuality and sex collide? You’re only limited by your own imagination.

Welcome to This Dripping Heart, February's edition of Red…

Whether you're partnered or solo, everyone deserves to have Cupid’s arrow aimed your way for a deeply impactful night. Who knows what desires lurk within our walls. From sultry succubus awaiting to be thrusted into oblivion by their lustful lucifers. To sirens beckoning to reduce you into a gushing puddle on the floor. Or maybe you're looking for your own deviant kinky Cupid. We might have all that you're looking for behind these doors.

Red…. an evening to satiate your hunger, in whatever form it growls from within you. Sleaze, debauchery, perversion, exquisite agony... Only you get to choose your own adventure.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Red is open exclusively to queer guests who identify as other than cis-gender male.

We want to thank everyone for their understanding in the cultivation of an exclusive safe space for our demographic. This party is designed to be an opportunity for all those who identify as other than cis-gender male to exclusively come together in a space just for them.

It is also important to note that this is a dance party, which means the music upstairs will be loud and there will be flashing lights. We encourage everyone to do what you need to in order to take care of yourself within this environment. We will have earplugs available on site for those individuals who may want to dampen the noise level.

Inclusivity & Safety:

Within the event parameters, we warmly invite and encourage individuals of all ages, races, ethnicities, gender identities (other than cis-gender male), sexual orientations, and abilities to attend our event. We are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe, respected, and celebrated. Your unique identity and experiences enrich our community, and we look forward to sharing this special experience with you.

Consent and respectful behavior required. Read the event rules and consent guidelines. Any consent concerns can be confidentially given to the hosts at the event or by email at info@afterdark-events.com.

Accessibility Notes:

  • The entrance to the space is on the ground floor and is fully-accessible, including lockers, social areas, play areas, and two accessible bathrooms. The basement of the venue can only be reached via stairs. There will be music playing throughout the night, and ear plugs are available for free at the front desk. There are colored lights in use throughout the venue, including rotating “party lights” for ambiance. Cell phones are prohibited from being used in the venue and must be stored; however, you may speak to a host about reasonable accommodations if needed for things such as continuous glucose monitoring.

COVID-19 safety measures:

  • All guests MUST take a rapid test on the day of the event, before arriving, and write the date on the test or immediately next to the test
  • Take a photo of the negative test & show it to the door guard when you arrive.
  •  We will have a limited number of tests for sale at $25 each in case anyone is unable to pretest

Dress Code:

Dress to kill. What makes you feel sexy, confident, ready to take on the world? Is it fetish wear? Is it leather? Is it a skimpy lingerie that leaves little to the imagination? Whatever it is, we want it here. Bring it.

While dressing to the theme is strongly encouraged in order to help maintain the immersive ambiance of the night, lingerie or general fetishwear are also welcome as are dungeon blacks. We encourage you to dress up - make an effort to impress but if nothing else comes to mind then dress as you would for a fancy night out.

Please be mindful that you might have to wait in line outside (it may be cold) and that you are welcome to arrive in regular clothes and then change into your kinky outfit once you get inside!

Tickets:

Presale tickets are required. Ticket prices are tiered as follows. Each tier has a fixed number of tickets. Ticket prices include all processing fees and any applicable taxes.

  • Tier 1 - $45
  • Tier 2 - $55
  • Tier 3 - $65
  • Tier 4 - $80
  • Financial Access (while available): $30

All tiers will have tickets available until the tier sells out. Lower tiers will sell out fairly quickly so we recommend getting your tickets as soon as possible!

This event WILL sell out in advance of the event date. Purchase your tickets as early as possible for the best available prices and to guarantee your spot - don’t miss out! We sometimes get a few cancellations the days leading up to the event so place yourself on the waiting list if you see a sold out message.

Organizers

This event is presented by the AfterDark Events team each of whom bring many years of experience organizing events in the kinky community starting with the founding of Mystique, SPANK!, Element, Aura, and a number of other epic parties. Feel free to reach out to them at @AfterDark-Events on Fetlife or info@afterdark-events.com with any questions or concerns before, during or after the event.

Your hosts for this event are Boisterous Bitch T and DnR (Devilish duo @DandyButch and @-Feral-Kitty-), who are eager to take you down a dark path where fantasies can come true. Dare you join us for an evening of deviance? Dare you not?

The Venue

Stopgap is the newest and oldest kink venue in San Francisco! While a new venue in its current iteration, the building itself has a rich history in the kink community as one of the prior locations of the SF Citadel. The first floor is fully accessible, with social and play spaces - including hardpoints. Descend into the 3100 square foot basement to play on equipment that many in the community may have enjoyed in days gone by plus some newer pieces from our collection. There will be crosses, benches, tables, bondage chairs, cages, and much more! Much of the equipment was recovered from the Citadel's lost storage unit early in 2024 with additional pieces from AfterDark and Paradox.

Stopgap has social areas, a cuddle room, a sensual room, and all kinds of BDSM equipment. We provide safety and hygiene supplies, clean sheets, and more. Stopgap elevates kink experiences for guests and offers turnkey solutions to organizers, content-producers, and others.

Connect

As with all AfterDark events, we'll have role stickers at the party to help identify and spark connections. In addition - we will be using our wristband system to help people appropriately initiate social interactions. People who are comfortable being respectfully approached about the possibility of play will be wearing yellow wristbands. If you see someone wearing a red wristband, that indicates that they prefer to not be approached about play, but may be open to conversations on other topics. Let them bring up play, don’t bring it up to them.

If you want to meet and chat with others who are coming to this party ahead of time then check out Red. . . on the Plura Community app.

Consent is Paramount

Part of our responsibility in fostering a consent culture is to provide some guidance to help prevent consent incidents from happening at our events.

By coming to an event you acknowledge that you understand the rules and agree to abide by them. If you have any questions or need clarification on any of our rules or guidelines please contact us before coming to an event.

Any consent concerns can be confidentially given to the hosts at the event or by email at info@afterdark-events.com.
