Rethinking Break-ups: A Guide to Decoupling & De-escalation

Workshop description

The idea of ending or even changing a relationship dynamic with someone, is terrifying, partly because we fear losing someone we have grown intimate with and because of the messaging we've received about romantic partnerships from the dominant culture leading us to view breaking up, or even a relationship taking on a different form, as the relationship failing. This idea keeps people in relationship dynamics that are no longer serving them, barring them from their own authentic needs and desires. Championing our own autonomy and our partner's(s) is crucial, in welcoming shifts to our relationships if something is not working for us.

This workshop dives into the emotional and tangible impact of major relationship shifts, and how to move them with compassion, grace and self assuredness.

Key Takeaways:

-Tools on how to initiate and welcome ALL major changes in relationships

-Deepened understanding of the "relationship escalator" and how it influences why we stay in relationship structures that no longer serve us

-Templates, ceremonies and rituals on how to have a conscious, proactive and loving decoupling
