Music can set the tone, guide the rhythm, and amplify emotional intensity—but only if it serves the scene, not the other way around. In this workshop, we’ll explore how to integrate music intentionally into your k!nk practice without losing connection, presence, or power. Whether you're drawn to the pulse of impact pІay, the slow burn of sensual movement, or the emotional waves music can stir, this class will give you practical tools and embodied techniques to elevate your scenes. We’ll dive into rhythm, emotional arcs, communication, and scene planning—so you can use music as a tool to amplify the Eros of your scene.

🎼 Power, Rhythm & Flow – Learn how to direct attention and energy with musicality. Explore how rhythm supports power exchange and deepens connection, with music as your scene’s emotional undercurrent—but not the main character.

🧠 Scene Crafting with Intention – Move beyond background noise. Discover how to select tracks that support the arc of a scene—from tension building to emotional release.

🎵 Song Selection for Mood & Tone – Learn how to curate a playlist that matches your playstyle, intention, and emotional landscape. We’ll explore genres, lyrics, and instrumentation as tools for shaping sensation.

💃 Embodied Rhythm & Movement – Use music to guide more than just impact. Explore how movement, breath, swaying, and stillness can amplify a scene. How does the scene change when one or both partners are familiar/unfamiliar with the music?

💥 Impact Play in Time – Explore striking with precision and presence using music as your metronome. Whether you’re using toys or just your body, we’ll play with syncing tempo to sensation.

🛑 Presence vs. Performance – Music can elevate a scene—or pull you out of it. Learn how over-immersion in music or lyrics can become a distraction, severing the feedback loop between partners. We’ll discuss how to notice when you’re “playing to the song” instead of your partner, and how to return to presence.

🧰 Scene-Planning Tools for Music Lovers – Discover actionable tools, apps, and strategies for weaving music into your kink:

1. Collaborative playlist building
2. Controlling co-listening sessions
3. Tools to sort playlists by BPM, intensity, or other criteria
4. Strategies to discover new music to fit your desires

We are having a 2-part evening of indulgence and learning. Come for the workshop and stay for the Jam to practice what you learned and meet other like-minded folks!

Workshop Format:

1. Discussion and Practical Exercises: The workshop will include a mix of discussions and hands-on exercises. You'll have the chance to interact with others, practice communication techniques, and receive feedback.
2. Solo and Group Work: You can come alone or with a partner. During the exercises, you'll have the opportunity to switch partners, which allows for practicing with familiar partners and new acquaintances. This helps simulate both established dynamics and pickup scene scenarios.
3. Dress Code and Interactions: Feel free to dress however you want, whether vanilla or ready to practice. Expect to interact with others for the exercises, at least in terms of communication and light D/s. More physical practice will be saved for the jam afterwards. We do not pair people up, and encourage guests to make friends and engage to their level of comfort ensuring that all are able to learn and grow. Couples can stay paired the whole time or practice with others if you so choose.
4. This workshop is open to all gender identifications, sexual orientations, lifestyles, singles and couples. All experience levels welcome. 18+.
5. Refunds must be requested 7 days prior to the event.
6. Doors open at 7:30pm and closes at 7:40 pm. Please be on time and text ahead if you are delayed.

Jam After the Workshop:

Stick around for our jam session. This is your chance to put what you’ve learned into action, trying out your new skills on dungeon furniture in a supportive setting. The lights go down, the music goes up, and playtime begins! Nix will be available for feedback, scenes, or additional guidance to solidify the workshop’s learning in a hands-on, playful environment. Participate at your own comfort level - whether that means observing, chatting, or playing with others.
