Rope Bondage Quick Start: Safety & Baseline Skills

This beginner-friendly class is designed to introduce the core skills and safety considerations needed to start exploring rope bondage intentionally and responsibly.

We’ll focus on baseline rope handling, foundational safety practices, and the minimum skills needed to set up a rope scene with care. Topics include single-column and double-column ties, communication, and risk awareness. The emphasis is on building habits that support safer play, not flashy techniques.

This class is well-suited for people new to rope as well as those looking for a thoughtful refresher. You may attend solo or with a partner.

This class takes place earlier in the day and pairs well with Sit Tight: A Hands-On Rope Chair Bondage Workshop, which builds on these skills in the afternoon. Purchase a quick start ticket and get 15% off of Sit Tight!

Stick around to practice or hang out during open studio time from 6:00–7 pm, then continue into the evening workshop and more practice time from 7-9 pm, with more open practice time from 9-10.

Bring rope if you have it! There will be rope available to purchase or borrow if needed.
