Rope Speed Friending/Dating

Prerequisite: Must have attended the Getting Started Class

Hello there!

One of the most asked questions we get every month is, "How do I find a partner?"

We realize this can be a challenging task, but we want to help you find others who are looking to do rope and for new partners too!

The Rope Speed Friending/Dating (RSFD) event is precisely the kind of event where this can happen. We know how difficult it can be to ask someone else for something, let alone to tie or be tied by them.

So, we hope to make it easy and fun!

How will this event work?

First, we will have a series of ice-breaker-type events to help you mix and mingle with others.

Next, we will have specific opportunities for you to talk with those who want to do the opposite role you do in rope. If you identify as a Top, you will get to meet potential bottoms; if you are a bottom, we will help you meet potential Tops.

If you are a Switch, which many of you are, then you can choose your side and even Switch if you'd like!

Then after you have had the chance to meet and talk with others, we will open up the venue to give you a chance to tie with one or more of those you have met that you might be interested in tying with.

We recommend that ties during that time are simple and that the negotiations are designed to help all parties learn more about each other.

This will be the first we are doing this, so there may be some bumps in the road, but we are excited to offer this great opportunity to meet others who are into rope!

Please get to the venue before 7 PM; doors open at 6:45, and close at 7:00 PM.

Must purchase tickets online so we know how many are coming!
