Klaus’ somatic practices include contact & vocal improvisation. Part of why he practices improvisation is to cultivate curiosity over ambition, be with awkwardness, and find joy & playfulness in the moment; some days that works better than others. He is influenced by the work of many wonderful people such as Bobby McFerrin, Benoît Lachambre, Nita Little, Carmen Serber, and… his desk job. He likes having plenty of time & space to start slowly and hopes to be able to share some of his excitement for moving in alignment with the felt sense and curiously witnessing what emerges from that with you.
We are at Forest Love - 110 Forest Lane in Berkeley. Please do not park on Keeler Ave past the V in the road going toward Miller Ave! You can park on Keeler Ave after you turn from Marin, but do not park at the top of the road near the V with Forest Lane, closer to our house. Do not block the intersection of Keeler and Forest Lane. Please keep away from these areas to ensure parking for our neighbors, so we can keep having events for you! You can also park on Grizzly Peak and Forest Lane and walk down if there is no more space on Keeler.
