Sex Positive Los Angles - Hike at Old Zoo Griffith Park

Let's enjoy a wonderful hike with some sexy folks! This hike will take place at Old Zoo in Griffith Park. Griffith Park Zoo was a city-owned zoo that opened in 1912 and closed in 1966. The abandoned site of the Griffith Park Zoo includes the ruins of animal enclosures and is now a fun and little eerie hiking trail.

The Old Zoo Trail begins just off of the paved road next to the parking area for the Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round; we will meet in the picnic area by the parking lot. The trail is a dirt path that gradually climbs. Hikingproject.com scores it as an Easy/Intermediate hike. It is about 2.5 miles and should take about an hour.

This is a casual event and won't necessitate an opening circle. It is important to arrive on time as we'll start the hike together. Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing and bring water to keep yourself hydrated. The host of this event isn't professional guides, just people who enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. Please ensure you can walk without assistance for 2+ miles, including steep hills, rocks, and stairs. Feel free to go at the pace that works best for you.

Food at a Restaurant Nearby: 11:45 AM

This event is open to all members and non-members alike. Members, feel free to bring friends!

People are welcomed and encouraged to grab food afterwards. The hosts will recommend some places nearby to the end of the hike.

This event is being offered for free; however, donations are encouraged. Donations go towards covering overhead and funding outreach efforts.
