Either you've taken my High Heels 101 workshop or you've got enough practice on your own that you're at least OK walking in your heels at home.
Everyone is welcome, from beginners to more experienced folks looking to level up.
All Bodies, All Ages, All Genders!
San Francisco is a fabulous town but she is NOT high heel friendly. Let's get you ready to face her dangerous beauty with your own!
You will gain more confidence with practical key skills like
- stairs,
- walking uphill and downhill,
- turning around,
- getting in and out of cars,
- walking on carpet,
- walking on uneven pavement,
- walking with speed,
- getting on and off a high seat like a barstool,
- getting in and out of a low seat like a banquet,
- taking a big step, such as over a train gap,
- changing clothes,
- picking up something off the floor,
- a little simple, basic dancing*,
and more everyday examples of what might require a little more balance and practice on a high heels day than a sneakers day!
*This is not a dance class, no dance moves will be taught. You don't need to be a dancer to take this class but just in case you wanna wear your stunners to attend a wedding, a house party, a nightclub, etc I want you to be ready and able to dance to at least one song with your friends!
You must have your own heels to wear for this experience. If you have more, feel free to bring multiple pairs to class, such as lower heels vs higher, platforms vs no platform, straps vs slip-ons, etc.

**TICKETING:**

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.
The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay.
If that would be a barrier to attendance, you may use the $20 option. If you're able to be generous, paying at the $40 option allows us to make tickets accessible to those who need the discount.
So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.
If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat. Scholarships will be provided on a funds-available basis.
