Cuddle Hang!

This event will provide a space for the San Francisco Cuddles community to get together for some casual cuddles with other experienced members. Cuddle Hangs are intended for people who are already familiar with the expectations and rules of Cuddle Parties, as well as their own boundaries. Please take a second to make sure this is for you before you register!

SFCuddles Community Cuddle Hang!

This event is for people who've previously attended at least 3 official Cuddle Parties that have been facilitated by Cuddle Party Inc. certified facilitators.

This Cuddle Hang will rely on your knowledge and experience from previous events, and will allow you to explore cuddles with other experienced folks!

This event will not be facilitated, and it will not have a workshop part to it. While Cuddle Party rules apply and the room will be monitored by our staff, there will not be a welcome circle or workshop, which means that there will be a higher expectation from participants to feel confident in their boundaries and communicate their Yes-es and No-s. This means it will be a less structured space, and you’d need to mind yourself more carefully.

Here's some information about what to expect:

What's the difference between a regular Cuddle Party and this Cuddle Hang?

1. This is not a Cuddle Party - While Cuddle Party rules still apply, it will not be structured the same way.
2. This will be a casual 3 hours event meant for the community to stay connected in lieu of any official SFCuddles Cuddle Parties. Think, meeting up at a friend’s house but with cuddles.
3. Note that there will not be a workshop or welcome circle as a part of this event.
4. You will be cuddling with other experienced cuddlers, meaning easier consent conversations that flow.
5. We'll likely have a smaller crowd since only Avid Cuddlers can sign up.
6. Building stronger bonds with familiar faces.

Are the rules the same as a regular Cuddle Party?

Yup! However, we will not be going over the rules or doing any exercises during the event, so participants will be relying on their own consent skillset.

If I haven’t been to at least 3 parties, can I still join?

Unfortunately, no. Due to this event not having a workshop portion and less guidance, we are expecting people to rely on their experience. In order for us to create this kind of space, we want people to have learned and implemented the Cuddle Party basics.

Will there be cuddles at the event?

People are welcome to cuddle, but never have to! You are always welcome to just hang out with your beloved community.

Will there be snacks?

Sure! We will bring our perennial favorites! (more hummus!)

What if I can’t make it on time?

That’s the beauty of this event! You can come and leave at any time. Doors will not close until the end of the event.

SOME REMINDER NOTES:

LOCATION: HeartLab, San Francisco. 3095 21st St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. The venue has one step at the entrance, but is otherwise wheelchair accessible. More details will be given with your ticket.

BRING: Comfortable PJs, personal water bottle, and if you'd like you can bring blankets, pillows and any kind of soft fluffy things to enhance your experience. Face masks are allows but will not be required.

ARRIVAL: Make certain to account for TRAFFIC AND PARKING. Parking in the area might be a bit difficult, but it is a few blocks away from the 24th & Mission BART station.

As opposed to a regular Cuddle Party, there is no cut off time for entry.

TICKETS: $25 for single admission or $40 per two people.

NOTE: Must be 18+ to attend.

NOTE: This is a sober event. Please do not attend influenced.

CANCELLATION: Tickets are non-refundable. Having said that, please care for your fellow cuddlers, and if you are not feeling well on the day of the party - please stay at home to keep our community safe.

Please do NOT wear heavy scents or perfumes. Many people are sensitive to them, and when we're in this space there is no way for people to avoid them. Please shower and lightly deodorize if desired, but skip the scented stuff.

Phoenix Schulte (He/They)

Phoenix is working with Yoni to foster more growth and joy in the SFCuddles community! They've been coming to Cuddle Parties since 2023, and very quickly had their mind blown by the amazing community. He is passionate about normalizing and exploring genuine, enthusiastic consent, and finding what it means in many different forms of nontraditional relationships. Being a strong part of the community enabled him to have a unique view at what the community loves and wants, and try to create that for them!
