New to the local public scene? This Kink 101 class gives you the basics: prepare for Folsom Street Fair, Dark Odyssey Surrender, and more in this special edition of Welcome to the Scene!

This class is perfect whether you're new to kink, new to the public scene, or want to learn more about local BDSM play and education. Join us for this quick orientation to the local kink scene. This session is perfect for folks who are making their first brave steps into the San Francisco kink scene. This class is also a perfect intro to etiquette and protocols if you're planning to get involved with local play parties and organizations.

PRESENTER:

Miriam Green has been in the public kink scene for 20 years in the Austin, Houston, and San Francisco scenes. They teach a series of KINK 101 classes on the SF kink community, BDSM negotiations, and dating while kinky. They are also the owner of Wicked Grounds.

TICKETING:

Tickets: $20 - $50 in advance, or $30 - $60 at the door. Please pay at the level you can comfortably afford.

The regular ticket is $30. This is what most people should pay. We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.

ACCESS:

In SF, this class will be held at Trellis. Please note that doors will close quickly so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before the class start time for check in. Doors will be fully closed at 12:15 and anyone arriving after this time may not be admitted.

Please do not attend in person if you have any respiratory symptoms whatsoever. Anyone displaying signs of respiratory symptoms may be asked to leave, regardless of vaccination status.
