SF/ONLINE: Kink 101: Diving Deep - Discovering and Voicing Kink Desires

  • Hosted by Wicked Grounds
  • San Francisco, CA -
  • 11 people on the list-

The first step in negotiating is voicing what we want. But many of us run into challenges almost immediately: What do I want? Assuming I figure that out, how do I feel safe talking out loud about my kinky desires?

Join us for a new Kink 101 class brought to you by popular request. Together, we'll explore:

  • How to discover what turns you on -- even if you haven't played yet
  • How to safely learn about kink from other people
  • Deepening our insights into our own desires, for our own sake
  • Techniques for finding your voice and speaking freely
  • Tips & tricks for sharing the desires you're afraid to voice

This class is for kinksters of all genders, orientations and dynamics. While this class is geared toward those starting or expanding their BDSM education, it will be of value to kinksters at any level of experience who face the challenges of connecting with or voicing their desires.

Miriam Green has been in the public kink scene for over one dozen years in the Austin, Houston, and San Francisco scenes. They teach a series of KINK 101 classes on the SF kink community, BDSM negotiations, and dating while kinky. They also are the owner of Wicked Grounds, San Francisco's first and only kink cafe & boutique.

This class will be offered both in person at Trellis in San Francisco, and simultaneously as a live, online class offered through Zoom. Please select SF or online tickets when purchasing.

Please note: This class is available for free to Wicked Grounds Patreon members who are subscribed at the VIP level ($30/month or higher). If you are a current Patreon member at that level, check your Patreon messages for this month's promo code. Want to join? Go to to sign up!

$15 - $35 in advance, or $20 - $40 at the door for in-person attendance.

We offer a sliding scale, so that cost is not a barrier to attendance.

The regular ticket is $25. This is what most people should pay.

The $15 ticket is offered for those for whom the $25 ticket would be a barrier to participation. If $25 is too much, we take your word for it! Just pay $15.

Have a great salary? Feeling generous? Paying at the $35 level allows us to make the discounted ticketing available to others who need it. :)

So - that's it! Choose the level you can comfortably afford.

If cost is a barrier at any point on the sliding scale, please use the Volunteer List at the bottom of the listing to request a scholarship seat.

This class will be taught out of Trellis (Rambling Rose) in San Francisco, and as a live, online class through Zoom.

In SF, this class will be held at Trellis in the Rambling Rose conference room. This space is fully ADA accessible, but entry times are limited! Please arrive between 6:40 - 6:55 pm for entry. If you cannot arrive during those times, please plan to attend online.

Please do not attend in person if you have any respiratory symptoms whatsoever. Anyone displaying signs of respiratory symptoms may be asked to leave, regardless of vaccination status.
